Welcome to the Ranch!
An experiment in container home building, sustainable design, and country living...
but most of all, a home to call our own...
BaHa Ranch is 5 acres of land on the side of a hill about an hour's drive from Austin, Texas. We are building an environmentally-friendly shipping container home there, and a few people have expressed interest in seeing our home evolve. Starting a blog seems like the best way to keep everyone updated. "BaHa" comes from our initials, B.A. and H.A. And while 5 acres isn't exactly a "ranch," well, it does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it?
